Becoming a member of the Welsh Fell Runners Association (WFRA) helps to support fell running and racing in Wales and the Borders. Fell running has a rich history and there are many fell running clubs and races across the country to get involved with.
Whether you're new to fell running (read our Beginners information) or an experienced fell runner, a junior fell runner, or a Race Organiser, we're looking forward to you being part of the WFRA.
The WFRA is an independent organisation providing the following services to fell/mountain runners in Wales and the Borders - an annual race calendar, website, Championships, Public Liability insurance for members (including Race Organisers). Annual membership is £10. The membership year runs from January 1st to December 31st. If you join after 1st October your membership will last until the end of the following year.
To renew your membership for 2026 access your membership details for 2025 via the link sent to you earlier in the renewal reminder email.
Standing Order renewals will be processed in the usual way, there’s no action to take if you pay by this method. If any standing order members wish to move across to the online renewal system, then use the new member link below. Please also remember to cancel your standing order payment.
As in 2026, this is £5 per year, for all juniors up to and including u19 age category (i.e. includes the year in which they turn 18). Includes calendar, membership card and free or discounted entry to many races!
