Brecon Beacons/Bannau Brycheiniog

The race entails running to seven mandatory checkpoints (including Tor y foel, Corn Ddu, Pen y Fan and Cribyn) from the centre of Talybont Reservoir dam. The race is approximately 30.6 km long with 1372m ascent and qualifies as a long race. 
All runners must be finished by no later than 15.30 (for the safety of the marshals and volunteers). 
A cutoff will be applied at the water station (SO035173  ///lost.earlobes.fidgeting) which is approximately 12.6km into the race and after 675m ascent. The cutoff time will be 12.15 for those starting at 10.30 (normal start time) and the cutoff time will be 11.15 for those starting at 09.30 (earlier start time). Please note that the earlier start time should only be used by those that are not likely to finish the race in under five hours. Those that miss the cutoff time will be redirected up the Roman Road to Bwlch ar y Fan (aka The Gap) to Cribyn>Carn Pica>Finish.
